What Platforms do you list my property on?

First and foremost we list your property on our own website right here at Eyre Hosting Co. as all traffic directed here is better for our clients (you guys) and also for our guests as we eliminate the large fees associated with booking platforms. Of course we also list and manage your property on three of the biggest accommodation platforms in Australia AIR BNB, Booking.com and VRBO.

Who organises the cleaning for my property?

We can liaise with your existing cleaner with regards to all bookings and cleans required as bookings are made or if you do not have a suitable cleaner we can recommend one.

Who sets the price for my property?

At Eyre Hosting Co. we set dynamic pricing based on availability in your area at the time of booking. This means your rates do fluctuate from time to time, in order to yield the best rate in peak times and to increase occupancy in lower periods. We will discuss with our clients a minimum nightly rate and a maximum peak rate that we will be aiming to achieve. The rest is left to us at Eyre Hosting Co.

Do I need to do my own linen?

This is optional and up to each individual client to either collect their linen and complete themselves(in the interests of saving money). Or alternatively for a full hands off approach the linen can be outsourced to one of our local linen companies.

Who pays for Cleaning?

The cleaning fee is set at the time of listing your home and on charged to the guest booking through each platform. If you choose to do your own cleaning to eliminate this expense, this is also something that can be negotiated.

Are there any lock in contracts?

We do not have lock in contracts, after our initial meeting if you agree to proceed with our management fees, terms and conditions the next step is for us to arrange a professional photographer (that we recommend at your cost). This is a very important stage as photos are everything with a listing. Once the photos are complete we will build your listing on airbnb, booking.com and VRBO all we ask is that you allow us to manage your home for a period of 12 months. If you choose to leave prior to the 12 months our time for building your airbnb listing will be billed to you at a cost of $500. If you allow us to manage for the 12 month period the building of your listing is all FREE.

Gardening Services?

Garden can be a real deal breaker for an airbnb property. If the garden is left untidy, unkept and unloved this can easily result with bad guest reviews. You are welcome to maintain your own garden or if required we can outsource this service for you. We recommend a gardener 2-3 weekly to keep your garden looking tip- top.

Maintenance that is often needed over time and at short notice?

This is where Eyre Hosting Co. really has you covered! We are very lucky that one of the owners Clint, who has been a marine engineer for 20 plus years has exceptional skills and knowledge and is able to do almost all of our general maintenance requirements. Clint can present at short notice, he can quote anything that is needing to be completed and you can choose for the service to be carried out or alternatively you can outsource or complete yourself once advised of the maintenance issue.
